Magic Lotus Catering was an offshoot of Kalachandji's Restaurant in Dallas, Texas. I started this catering service in 1984 to provide vegetarian meals to traveling music celebrities and bands that came through Dallas. I continued catering even after leaving Dallas, and eventually traveled with the Lollapalooza Tour as a food vendor to 35+ shows in the summer of 1992. I also vended at numerous other music festivals, as well as Health Fairs and Street Fairs on the East Coast.
